Enjoy a delicious meal of homemade soup, fresh bread and dessert, generously donated by local restaurants and served in beautiful handcrafted bowls created by talented local artists. After your meal, you’ll take your unique bowl home as a lasting reminder that many individuals and families in our community continue to face food insecurity and housing challenges.
All proceeds from this annual Empty Bowls event will continue to support Crosstown Meals on Wheels and its mission to improve the health and quality of life of older adults and others in need by providing nutritious meals and vital social connection.
The need has never been greater. Meals on Wheels is serving a record number of meals as an aging population, rising costs and reductions in assistance programs such as SNAP and Medicaid leave more vulnerable seniors at risk of going without reliable access to food.
We invite you to be part of this special event. Browse a wide selection of one-of-a-kind bowls donated by local artists, savor exceptional food from some of your favorite restaurants and connect with friends, neighbors and community members, all while helping ensure that no one faces hunger alone.
